SPINKS AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL TOWERIn September 2003 the City of Fort Worth entered into an agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation to construct a permanent Air Traffic Control Tower at Spinks Airport in south Fort Worth. The project is expected to be completed sometime during the Fall of 2006.

Front and Side Yard Parking

In 1984, a city ordinance was approved to prohibit parking of motor vehicles, trailers, boats, and other vehicles in certain areas of residential property. The ordinance, amended in 1987, prohibits vehicle parking in the front or side yard. To avoid a $50 per day fine, move it around back, or park it on a hard surface.

Oversized Vehicles

It is unlawful to park any oversized commercial vehicle, with a gross weight of at least 15,000 pounds (or any vehicle designed to carry more than 15 passengers) on any residentially zoned property.
