Sign Ordinance
The City of Fort Worth City Council recently approved the Sign Ordinance Text Amendment.
Amendments to the Sign Ordinance include: revisions to political signs, window signs, attached signs, detached signs, unified sign agreements, changeable copy signs, sales office/model home signs and homebuilder and subdivision directional signage.
Developer and Builder Signs / City Kiosk Program Information Summary
Developers are required to use kiosks for off-premise directional signage.
Any interested builder or developer should email the company directly at gfaris@clearviewkiosk.com, George Faris, for information on the proposed locations and if additional locations are desirable.
Off-premise developer signs are still prohibited unless they have a permit under the old ordinance that has yet to expire. City staff will begin taking enforcement action on any off-premise signs that are non-compliant during the month of April.

Electrical, mechanical and plumbing fees include a Fee Estimation worksheet. You can estimate your building permit fees by selecting the Building Fee Estimator link.
You will need to know the occupancy code for commercial construction permit fee estimates. For residential, occupancy code R is for the dwelling structure and occupancy code U is for garage, carport or other structure.
