Judicial Division

The Judicial Division of the Municipal Court is comprised of eleven full time and nine Pro Tem judges.

    Note: Only payments for Parent Contributing and Failure to Attend cases are accepted at this location.

Payments

If you plead "No Contest" or "Guilty," you have several options for paying your fine.

Fines may be paid using cash; VISA, MasterCard or American Express (except at the School Attendance Court); personal checks (no temporary checks); money order or cashier's check. Make your checks and money orders payable to City of Fort Worth. A $25 service fee will be assessed on returned checks.

Should you have a change of address, you must notifying the court in writing.

You may pay in person, by mail, online or by telephone.

  • Mail your payment to:

Payments all can be made through Western Union Quick Collect, which offers several options:

If you use Western Union services, you will need to provide Western Union with the following information:

  1. Pay to: City of Ft Worth Muni Court
  2. Code City: CFWCOURT
  3. State: TX
  4. Account Number: CASE NUMBER – This number can be found on the letter you receive from the court or by calling calling 817-392-6700. Parking citations and warrants can be looked up using the Municipal Court's online databases.

Extended or Late Payments 

To apply for a payment extension, complete the extension application and bring it and all supporting documentation with you to any court location within 30 days of receiving the ticket.

You will be given 30 days to pay the fine in full. A $25 fee will be added if not paid in full by the end of the extension. If you pay at least $30 in the first 30 days, you may continue to pay $30 per month until paid in full.

Late payments sent by mail will be accepted and posted, and you will be notified at the address on the ticket if there are additional fines.
