FIRE REPORTS

Following a response to an emergency incident, firefighters must prepare a written report detailing the event. Many times the owner of a residence or building where a fire has occurred needs a copy of this report. The most common reason is so that the report can be filed with the persons insurance company.

A copy of a fire report will be made available to the property owner at no cost. Others requesting a copy, such as an insurance company, will be charged a minimal fee.
