Recycling Collection
Fort Worth provides residential curbside recycling pickup once a week in BLUE carts that are easy to roll to the curb, help prevent blowing litter and keep recyclables dry.- Put recyclables in the BLUE cart.
- Do not bag or separate recyclables.
- Make sure the recycling cart is at the curb by 7 a.m. on your pickup day.
- You may set out your cart after 6 p.m. the night before your pickup day.
- Make sure the lid is completely closed.
- Your recycling, garbage, yard trimmings and brush are all picked up on the same day, once per week.

APARTMENT RESIDENTS: Take your recyclables to one of the city's Drop-Off Stations for free.

If you are physically unable to take carts to the curb and would like to apply for assistance, call 817-392-EASY (3279) or download the form below. You'll need three copies: the original goes to Solid Waste and you and doctor may wish to keep copies on file.Please note that those who use both the disabled and elective carryout services are responsible for placing yard trimmings at the curb.
