I am glad the medical examiner has finally concluded his investigation, and I believe the grand jury will be able to make a final and unbiased decision on where this case goes from here. For far too many years, Cobb Park (one of the largest parks in Fort Worth) has remained mostly untouched. But that's all about to change. After a diligent review by a citizen's advisory committee chaired by Mayor Pro Tem Kathleen Hicks, the Fort Worth Parks Board adopted the master plan in June of 2008. The master plan includes more than $25 million worth of improvements to the park. Phase I of the design and construction will begin this year, starting with a new park road.
