Save money by conserving water. Water your lawn early in the morning or late in the evening when less water is lost to evaporation. Water deeply (1 inch of water) and infrequently to obtain a deep root system. Grass with a healthy root system can better tolerate hot temperatures. Repair any leaks. For more info visit, www.fortworthgov.org/water.
